You have alll been lied to why there is not a team in Mobile. Dont blame it on the SEHL/SPHL/WHA2/EHLSHL or what ever they go by this week. The league(s) try'd all they could get a team here. The city and its ever vast brains in charge. The Civic Center has a moron in charge that wants to line his(city) pockets. He told the league if you want to come to Mobile you have to pay me(city) $50.000 on top of all the other bills made for a normal team. Most minor league teams plan on spending around $200.000 for the season with all there expence's then to add 50.000 more just cause the Arena wants it. The answer is and always will be NO NO NO. I guess I have been under a rock for a couple of seasons. I guess I missed the teams that have played here since the mysticks left................oh thats right NOBODY but a major league joke Basketball team that didnt bring in but about 200 people a night . im glad the mysticks left town for that. Sure wouldnt want to have somebody in the arena that would take away from the basketball team. No we at the Civic center dont need anything here (Team Wise) cause we have such a busy schedule we dont need a pro team here to add to the city as an atraction. On the schedule tonight we have Jenny May and the twinkle girls dance club on the main stage. I think its about time we ship the city a big bus and have all the people that run this dump (Civic Center) sent to Mexico. Sorry i ranted on so long but i get so tired of the City covering up the truth. the league didnt say they they didnt weant to put a team here it was the city that pushed them out. we need the Civic Center for all the drunk old folk to have MArdi Gras for the month of Feb...................
