Subject: Rockburn Vintage Snowmobile Show 2018

The Rockburn Vintage Snowmobile show is less than one month away. We are honored to have back this year, Yvon Duhamel, Wayne Nicholsen, Charlie Beattie, Herb Yancey, Ron Hall, Lucien Lamoureux, Gaétan Chester Duval, Marcel Imbeault, Sylvain Laflamme and Claude Racine. The new additions to our roster of race personalities for 2018 are, David Karpik (TeamFast-Blade Snowmobiles), along with Morley Smith, Pierre Rouette and Guy Cyr. Morley Smith, Pierre Rouette and Guy Cyr worked with Gilles Villeneuve at Alouette from 1973 to 1975. There may be some surprise appearances as well.
In addition, Yvon Duhamel’s 1974 Sno Pro Blizzard will be at the show, along with the Boss Cat III, Bob Elsner’s 1979 Arctic Cat Sno Pro and Larry Rugland’s 1976 TNT Sno Pro. This may be a last time to see these machines out East, especially Yvon Duhamel reunited with his Sno Pro.
Also, during the question period, Morley Smith, Pierre Rouette and Guy Cyr will entertain us with memories and anecdotes with respect to designing the Alouette Super, designing the Alouette twin tracks as well as to one of the greatest snowmobile racers ever, Gilles Villeneuve. For more info look us up on Facebook –“Vintage Snowmobile Club of the Adirondacks”.
