For the second year in a row, it was damn cold. Once the sun came up and we got underway it wasn't so bad. Our numbers which peaked at 140 in 2014 were down again this year to 50 hardy riders - and thanks to one and all of your. Still it was a very successful event from everyone's perspective, including the Legion.

For anyone who missed it, this year's route was praised by everyone as the best yet. Our thanks to Alain Goulet and Jeff Campbell on the Quebec side for getting us off of the river and onto a freshly groomed trail right into Quyon!

Thanks to the whole Legion crew, Alfie Currie in particular (chili chef) who is battling health issues but came out of retirement. Also our sponsors: Sobey's March Rd. Councillor Eli El-Chantiry & Wyatts (Snow City) in Kars. Finally thanks to Phil Sadler & Daphne Porter for their ongoing encouragement and the nice trophy to me, honouring 10 years of the Old Sled Run. That makes next year the official 10th anniversary and we hope to see you all there.
Mike
