Subject: Constance Bay Wrap Up

So 2015 is in the books!

There were no worries about ice quality or anything like that! I think that this will likely go down as the coldest Sunday of this winter. On behalf of Branch 616, thank you to each and every one of you who came. It was a tough one for sure. We had a total of 86 riders (68 original & 18 restored). Not like last year, but not bad for the temps.

I can't say enough about how this community and the Legion members have rallied around this event. I won't mention them all, for fear of leaving someone out, but do want to thank a couple of special people: Arlene Morrow our President, who is doing a great job in a thankless task, and Alfie Currie who has backed away from kitchen duties, but offered to come out of retirement to quarterback breakfast and the chili.

Thanks as well to our sponsors (these folks are amazing - I don't have time to chase around, and most of them come to me!):
- Ward 5 Councillor Eli El-Chantiry
- Almonte Sign Company (Rodney & Blair)
- Malwood Station (Harold Rowe)
- Point Lounge (Rick & Mary)
- Greystone Grill (Daryl & Nadine)
- Gavan's Hotel (Nick Matechuk)
- Snow City (Rick and Randy Wyatt), Kars
- Glenn "Bones" Carr

And finally, this year's awards:
