Hoping for the true fact
Knowing you pretend

Believing those dreams
Knowing your fantasy
Hoping leads to nothing
Knowing of the reality

Believing your apologies
Knowing each excuse
Hoping you would return
Knowing it was no use

Believing all these things
Knowing you for years
Hoping got me nowhere
Knowing brought tears
