When Depression Owns the Heart

I travel the distance to loose a heart
I find it in my soul to be depress
I through away the keys I have
I pour my heart out to him
I could never show love in return
was to afraid to get hurt
didn't know what I wanted
in reality I am scared
in my thoughts I fear in life
when depression owns your heart
it takes control of your mind
you start to see things
hear the voices when not there
takes a piece of you within you
I truly feel desheartening myself
leave you no emotions of thought
depression can be dangerous
and it kills the heart if you let it
everything is hopeless
everthing inside is dying
everything in you is useless inside
only you can fight the battle
when depression owns the heart
