Went to a Hillbilly Dance
Thinkin I'd try some of that Southern Fried romance
The Fiddle, The Squeezebox and the Bow
Man they were dancin the Hoe
Round and Round the hay-bales
Jumpin up and down on a set of Tux Coattails
I was havin such fun

When this beautiful Blonde she'd edged on up to me

I just smiled and dove right in

When I say along comes this MOUNTAIN MAN
He came at me with boulder fist hand (Ouch!)

That's my lady he drawled
Dazed in the grass I sprawled

How can I do my thing..I just want to love and dance

I just had to quit
