I Try To Keep Positive

Continuation I hoped for
I had written nothing new
Many unfinished poems
Nothing much I could do

Its this over active mind
Thoughts sent to and fro
Verses being set aside
Awaits to follow the flow

I feel like I am stranded
On the paths to nowhere
While needing an outlet
I scribble here and there

As I try to keep positive
Tomorrow is another day
Maybe poems will build
Like steps along the way
