You are my distant warming breeze
That covers me so gracefully
And as I hunger for your touch
It's hard to wait so patiently

Sometimes I want your flow to rest
Within my waiting pulsing heart
To calm each quiver that I feel
Deep inside my aching chest

But many times your breeze goes by
Too quickly for my hand to clutch
And then I'm lost to softly cry
For the breeze I could not touch

Oh my sweet and tender love
Do not pass me by too fast
Let me share with you my heart
Let us share a love to last!
