You Will Not Be Aware

I go off into a quiet place
When I am feeling low
There I will cry for hours
No one shall ever know

Sadness can be hidden
If I keep it out of sight
I weep tears in silence
Hugging my pillow tight

Yearning is never heard
A heart aches silently
My face hid in a pillow
Sorrow no one will see

Its easy masking sorrow
You will not be aware
I can pretend all is fine
A smile covers despair
