While Questioning Things

A heart and mind in debate
Having in-between times
Nothing seemed to blend
Yet I jotted down a few lines

I have been feeling at a loss
Still my emotions remain
While I attempted to write
Often it was hard to explain

Something did seem wrong
When it always felt right
Yet nothing dulls the ache
When knots gripped so tight

Enduring times such as this
While questioning things
Emotions that I feel within
Still tug upon my heartstrings
