I know who you are talking about. Gary Hudson, aka "The Nutty Professor". He's been bringing and showing me his "improvments" to all kinds of gold machines for years. I have not been impressed with any of them so far. Some seem to work fine in the air but not in real hunting situations. The engineers at Whites, Fisher, Tesoro, etc. have all had some contact with him, and they all think he is from Mars. He has had some good ideas over the years, a few of which have actually been incorporated into production machines, for example, the V-Sat on the Goldmasters originated with him.
Before sending in your own personal machine for him to tinker with, be sure you have a backup and a money back gaurantee if it doesn't work as he claims in the field.
I can put you in touch with him if you want, but "buyer beware". Remember, what you gain in one function, you loose in another.
