Howdy Phil---

So you're into shining up pretty rocks. I taught lapidary
in the adult school system back in the 1970's for a couple of years. Some of the adults were really talented. Faceting
and making "cabs."

I was lucky enough--- with a partner to find about a dozen rounded rocks, very weathered, which ID'd on the scale of my Compass Gold Scanner with a "12." Inside was stringers
of elecrum. We had them cutup into slabs and partner sold them. I still have a couple of cuts. No big deal $$$. Just some float. Partner lived near the area and could not find more.
