Hey Bob,

Thank God another ham to talk with! There's also Gene in Ridgecrest that's a ham, but doesn't have anything up for HF yet. I'm good for 40 right now and my close friend just turned me on to a Heathkit SB-220 that I've got to run a 220 line in to my shack, finally a 2KW amp to light up the neighborhood with! I currently have a little 400W amp with a pair of 811A's and a inverted Vee for 40meters.

I've only been in the Gold hobby for a little over 4 years,but sure enjoy it! You should consider getting Carl Morelands Geotech PI PCB for $12. It has S.A.T. and Carl did a real nice job designing it (he's a Engineer with Analog Devices). Ever been to his Geotech webpage?

If you want to make a sked for 40 SSB let me know, we can cruise up to the Advanced portion and have a nice chat.
