I purchased a 15" WOT for my XT18000 in Dec. have only had it out twice unfortunately, once at the beach and once out in the Dale district. I bought from "Doc" and he reccomended running in the 6Khz mode for best depth, I was wondering if I would lose the smaller nuggets on top, I didn't find any nuggets on my outing but found some fairly small pieces of lead which reassured me I wasn't going to lose to much small gold. The WOT was very stable in the desert, even with all the hot rocks in the Dale. The Beach was a different story as I had to back way off on the sensitivity along the water which ment I lost a lot of depth, in the dry sand I was able to crank it up and I was digging targets at least 18", I did find a very petite gold ring at a couple inches, still sensitive to the small stuff at 6 Khz. I am happy with the setup, now I just need to swing it over the right spot.
