Hi Jim,

There are of course other machines that do have larger coils. In fact, the only reason I own my GP Extreme is to run those big coils. It seems to me that big coils are what PI is all about, as a PI unit can effectively employ larger coils that wil not work on VLF units due to the feedback from the ground. So the lack of a larger coil for the Infinium, in my opinion, is keeping the machine from reaching its full potential.

I went out and did some coin detecting in town yesterday but it is still winter in the hills. But it's getting warmer every day, so it will be nugget detecting time soon!
