Hello Robert,

I believe you got statement, "not good on highly mineralized ground
conditions," from my forum. The XT18000, in my opinion will work in
any area just as good as any other VLF unit such as the White's GMT,
Fisher Goldbug 2, Tesoro LST, and many others.

What I was comparing, was the SD/GP series to the XT18000, not the XT
against other VLF in mineralized ground conditions.

I believe the XT18000 is just as good, if not better, than other
VLF's.

P.S. "Most" areas in Alaska are not as mineralized as the lower
desert regions.
