Subject: please clarify for me

what you would call a wash down through 300 feet of glacial till?

I maybe incorrectly called it alluvial (even though its washed, down by water)

there are some 300 foot thick banks, of well worn rocks, gravel, black sand, and of course gold, in the area im going to be in...............as far as i can tell, it all glacial till (but there are theories)

Im re-reading Jim S "follow the drywashers" edition #6, and maybe i should be calling these washes "gulches, in eluvial gravel"

I will take a bunch of pictures this weekend, of the areas im in, and the gold I WILL find, both dredging, and shootin!!

Dave
