Subject: Rye Patch outing

Ok gang, it looks like only about 5 people have shown an interest in getting together for a trip out to Rye Patch. Is this enough to make a good outing? If anyone else is interested, please post here.

I would think we would need about 10 people to make it a fun trip, but I'll let you decide. If so, it looks like the weekend of May 10th to the 13th going to work out the best. That gives everyone at least 3 days to hunt, Friday through Monday. For those who don't know, this area is in northern Nevada about 2 hours north of Reno. There has been some nice gold found here in the past, but like most areas, it's been hit pretty hard. Still, we almost always manage to find some. A 4.5 dwter. was the biggest our group found last year.

If it looks like we can pull enought people together, I'll post directions, times, equipment, etc. later or email me for specifics.
