If you want to know where the gold was found talk to Chico Jim. He seemed to know where to do the coil magic to find gold. As a detectorist I finally encountered my very first nugget. ZIP ZIP YAHOOO!! A big thanks to Digger and the crew who helped me out with detector settings and show and tell sessions where I saw the BEST GOLD EVER (Jerry, Tom, Digger,Jim) that encouraged me to stay motivated even after many straight hours of swinging without a sound. All together I think 12 nuggets were found (my first one at 8.5 grains). I cant speak for the rest of the group but with the exception of the some very cold rain friday midday the weather was flawless Saturday and Sunday and the trip perfect.
