I have my wife to thank for these two pieces we were returning last fri from a 90 day trip to the lower 48 and had stopped in Dawson City to putter around in the hills and decided to head on home as it is a 10 hr drive from there. When we got to a spot whee I have found osome nice pieces in the past I was ready to drive on by in fact I did. She asked me if I shouldn't give it a go, so I backed up and parked. Nice day outside but all my stuff was buried under our gear in the back of the truck so I found a detector apan and a small shovel, took my boots off waded the cr. I scanned about an hour near a mined out area and did have some luck in fact I was very happy with the results... She doesn't need anymore gold nugget jewlery or I would have something made.I have found a little over 85 grams in this area now since last 4th of July...HH ..Geo .. Sure glad the forum is up and running again... :-
