Hi Dave!

The Garrett Scorpion Gold Stinger is a very rare machine in Alaska, and yet you are the second guy I know of to score at Paradise Valley with one. Any big nuggets?

I gave up stocking the Stinger two years ago due to lack of demand. It may have had something to do that I kept telling people it has the worst battery replacement system of any detector I've ever used, and that includes underwater models! Ironically, I'm going to finally order some since it is now the least expensive nugget detector since the demise of the Gold Bug. It's now the entry-level unit.

Since you are in the nugget business, and have been to Paradise Valley, check out my Alaska's Largest Gold Nuggets page at http://www.akmining.com/mine/nuggets.htm for pictures of several Paradise nuggets, including Ed Hill's Stinger finds. Maybe you know of some I can add.
