Hi Jim,

Thanks for the report. I'm anxious to give the Gold Strike a spin in the field. I'm trying hard not to let my bias towards a machine with threshold get in the way. The only way I guess I'll be a believer is by running my Gold Bug 2 with small coil along with the Gold Strike with small coil and comparing found gold. I'm sure I can find gold with the Gold Strike. But will it sound off on those little guys that just whisper on the Gold Bug 2 threshold?

I must say I'm impressed by your desire to learn the new unit and give it a fair shake. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks! I look forward to your thoughts on the machine.
