Subject: Sierra Gold Max vs Sierra Hot Shot?

Howdy!

Has anyone compared these two coils for the Goldmasters? I have the Gold Max and wonder if the Hot Shot offers any advantages. From what I know of coils it would seem there would be little difference in performance between a 14" elliptical or 12" round concentric coil.

I also wonder if the iron id does not work as well with these coils, as they "see" more ground by comparison with the target.
