Yes, this is the W ridge of West Bond. If I figure the date correctly, this was Feb.1, 1963 or just about 39 years earlier than the trip more recently described in http://home.earthlink.net/~ellozy/Bonds.html

Both times that I descended W Bond in winter without a broken trail down, we went S from the West Bond-Bond col. You get into birches fairly quick that way although it is a longer.
