Hey Chris, I don't know if you remember me but we met a few times. I graduated in 85 so you must have come to campus to visit once or twice. I met Bish a few times as well.
The Trailwalk is still run each year, but it is from Hanover to Moosilauke now, ending at the Ravine Lodge instead of at Kinsman Notch. There are fewer roadwalks, and the trail goes over Moose Mountain instead of around it, so it's probably a bit harder. They usually start on Friday afternoon, around 3 or 4, and finish during the day on Saturday. There are food/help stations along the way at road crossings, and you can have headlamps, warm clothes, fresh socks along the way.
