Subject: Pinkham used to be on route for everyone
In reply to: Mohamed Ellozy 's message, "Re: 24 hr Hut Traverse" on 03:00:06 08/04/03 Mon

When Chris Goetze did it in the '60s? Pinkham was definitely on the route. He started at Lonesome, from Pinkham to Carter he walked Rte.16 and went in Aqueduct Path (see USGS quad, then an official hiking trail, now part of Great Glen trail system). Even if you walk Rte.16 all the way from 19-Mile-Brook, that must be faster than Wildcat Ridge.
