I hiked the Owl's head on 19AUG
I used sandals for the two stream crossings( thigh deep) on Lincoln Brook Tr (i kept them on in between)
i left The Lincoln Woods lot @ 0600H and was on the summit by 1100H (est. R/T 8-10 hours)
i continued on to Garfield Ridge campsite, so i could finish second half the Pemi-Loop the next day
i would wear short gaiters, the trail was still quite muddy in spots and you don't have to worry about getting wet feet.
