Subject: Tripyramids

I was hoping to hike the Tripyramids in a couple of weeks and I had a route question. In our group there are a couple of people who don't appreciate the "edge" thing (steep drop-offs along the side of a trail like the narrower parts of Franconia Ridge). No problems with milage or exposed open areas or steep climbing. In reading about the North and South Slides, I was unclear if this was an edge concern for some or just a steep climb and exposure. Should I be thinking Scaur Ridge/Pine Brook as a preferred route or, do you think my gang would still enjoy the Slides. Thanks all!!! Mike
