Subject: wanted: recommendations for a 2 day hike

I am planning a 2 day hike for a weekend in late May (20 to 30 miles, depending on terrain). I want to hike a section of the AT in New England, and want to have it include some of the higher peaks.
I have already done a good deal of hiking in the Presidentials, and have also done the section of the Long Trail over Killington, so am hoping for suggestions which would lead me to some new territory (for me!)
Can anybody recommend the section from Killington up to the Presidantials? What are the trails and mountains in that area like? Will I be LIKELY to hit snow on May 15? Any help is much appreciated.
