Subject: Maybe also contact schools for class times. If classes end at 6pm and you have to travel over an hour home, it may be manageable, but if class ends at 9pm might make it too late if that makes sense. Even class start times will affect you if they start before you are able to get there in time.
In reply to: Interested to hear what other think. 's message, "So we are looking at changing schools at the end of this year, and considering which school may work for us. We live in the Richmond area and are considering how far is acceptable to travel regularly for lessons. Our IDD is 13 so we have to consider school homework etc. How far do you travel to dance class, what do you think is reasonable ?" on Wed, Mar 15 2017, 9:14:24"

  • Out travel time to class varies between 1.5hrs and 2 hrs depending upon traffic, but getting home is a lot quicker, just over an hour in off peak traffic. Thank goodness its only twice a week. We leave home at 4pm and don't get home until just after 10. (NT) -- Not enough hours in the day., Mon, Mar 20 2017, 14:37:19"
  • I had no idea that people actually travelled so far and so long to get to classes. That's just crazy, what about homework and getting to bed at a reasonable time , especially for young ones. (NT) -- I wouldn't do it, not for all the tea in China., Mon, Mar 20 2017, 15:45:44"
