Subject: You cannot mordenise Irish Dancing it is a Traditional Irish Dance form danced to Traditional Irish music that has been around for hundreds of years due to this fact not in spite of this. When was the last time you saw Sean O'Brien at a comp with a synthesia and electric guitar? If you want your child to wear short dresses go do Ice Skating or Ballroom dancing even Ballet dancers wear tights unfortunately these very short dresses are not flattering for everyone.
In reply to: DM 's message, "Irish dancing is becoming more and more modernised as the year ago on and frankly if you don't like it there are plenty of other organisations that are taking the more "traditional" approach. If you don't like it join a different organisation instead of complaining about CLRG dancers and how they CHOOSE to look." on Mon, May 29 2017, 13:27:05"
