Subject: Next in line means that at the State Championships, if you have a dancer who is a World Medal Holder from the previous worlds, they are not counted when working out the number of qualifiers. So for example, if there was going to be 5 qualifying places in a section and one of the top 5 dancers was a WMH from the previous worlds, then 5 dancers plus the WMH qualify for worlds, so 6 dancers qualify as the WMH is skipped over in the calculations as they are technically already qualified. Hope that makes sense.
In reply to: Interested 's message, "WQ approach seems to be inconsistent across the states. Could someone please explain what next in line means and does everyone receive a letter to say they have qualified ?" on Thu, Aug 31 2017, 23:13:56"
