Subject: If they re-dance, they are marked on the second dance.
In reply to: dm 's message, "Genuine question, if a dancer stops during their set dance and the judge allows them to re dance do they get marked on the first attempt or the second? witnessed a dancer on the weekend, stop, was allowed to redance, she went on to win the section. she was a lovely dancer, i was just a little suprised to see her after she clearly stopped and was unable to finish the dance." on Mon, Sep 11 2017, 9:47:48"

  • That sounds a bit unfair if they just stop (NT) -- ., Mon, Sep 11 2017, 22:40:56"
  • It may happen to your dancer one day, you won't think it's unfair then :) If the dancers are young, the AD's often let them re-dance, what's the harm? It's just dancing, not the end of the world if they get another try, if they made it through the second time, they obviously know the dance. Can we stop with all the this is unfair and that is unfair posts now? (NT) -- -, Tue, Sep 12 2017, 7:32:25"
