In reply to: dm 's message, "Genuine question, if a dancer stops during their set dance and the judge allows them to re dance do they get marked on the first attempt or the second? witnessed a dancer on the weekend, stop, was allowed to redance, she went on to win the section. she was a lovely dancer, i was just a little suprised to see her after she clearly stopped and was unable to finish the dance." on Mon, Sep 11 2017, 9:47:48"

  • Happened at WA State champs too (NT) -- No penalty, not fair in my opinion, Tue, Sep 12 2017, 11:57:58"
  • Not acceptable at State Championships at all in my opinion. If something like that happened in our section there would be murder! It's extremely competitive in NSW for all age groups, the dancing is of such a high standard and results are often so close. I've seen it happen at small feis' quite s few times but never at a major like States, not sure if you are doing the dancer any favors cause there's no second chances at Nationals.
