  • Some US schools do stop, but it is during their summer break (July) after nationals. Regionals aren't until Nov/Dec, so they can still get 3-4 weeks off and have 4 months to prepare for their primary qualifier,. The difference is that they work through from Nov-Mar/Apr for worlds and Jul for their secondary qualifier. Our Summer makes it harder but the truly determined dancers will press on despite heat and schools going on break.
