Author: The "A" in LGBTQIA is for ALLIES. Lets all be one
Subject: Using the term "male wearing a dress" highlights how little you understand about transgendered people. Saying you think a male competing in a female group is unfair highlights how little you know about Irish dancing. Men and women have very different techniques that they learn from a young age. People who are transgendered are not out there to get an unfair advantage, they are trying to live their true lives. This is great community and we should all support and accept each other.
In reply to: Just my opinion 's message, "Looking at rules with regards to competing there is no information about transgenders. I do think it would be unfair though if a male wearing a dress competes with girls." on Thu, Mar 22 2018, 12:08:28"
