  • I feel sorry for the above posters children and the message she is sending them. They are competing for the wrong reasons if all they they want is to get a sash and trophies for participation. They need to to learn to lose and win with grace, they need to learn to work harder for the next comp. They need to learn about good sportsmanship, they need to learn to go and congratulate the winner regardless of their place, the winners need to learn humility and not look down on those who place lower than them.
