Subject: I think any dancer from anywhere in the world can dance in Australian competitions (not States or Nationals) as long as they are a CLRG dancer, ie not registered with AIDA or an AIDA registered TC. The last sentence doesn't really make sense as no-one other than the local dancers can compete in those qualifiers, that has nothing to do with AIDA. Not sure I am understanding the point of the original question or the response. OP what exactly are you asking? Are you insinuating that an overseas dancer is trying to dance at say Nationals by registering with an Aussie TC?
In reply to: There are also stipulations about being in the country at the time of entry for Nationals (and maybe states?) 's message, "In order to compete in AIDA sanctioned competitions, a dancer needs to be registered with a teacher who is registered with AIDA Inc and their state branch. You would be able to compete in Australia and abroad as can any other Australian dancer. However, you wouldn’t be able to compete in restricted competitions e.g. primary qualifiers in the US and Irish Nationals." on Sat, Sep 07 2019, 13:19:02"
