Subject: If anyone is looking for family things to do whilst in Canberra if you have a spare day and a car, I highly recommend Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, about 40-50 minutes drive from the city. It's their open day on Sunday if you are here early, free entry or any other day only $13.50 per car. Link inside to open day event page and a video if you are curious..

  • Any suggestions for great restaurants please (NT) -- dm, Fri, Sep 27 2019, 12:31:27"
  • Link inside, there's lots listed. Not much near the venue, but if you are staying in "Civic" you have lots to choose from, Braddon has many cafe's and restaurants and if you have a car you could hop over the bridge to Kingston Foreshore. This list will get you started though... -- Canberra Mum, Fri, Sep 27 2019, 17:30:00"
