Subject: Just read this post and couldn't believe what I was reading. 99% of childen transfer because their parents aren't satisfied. Ask the dancer. It's not teachers but parents whose behavious is inappropriate. No I'm not a teacher but have seen some dispicable behaviour by parents just because their over indulged child will never be a dancer. Most times it's not the teacher, it's the parent. Helicopter parenting is rife in Irish dancing.
In reply to: Do we or don't we 's message, "At that time again where we are throwing around whether to move dance schools, love where we are but would like more in DD's solo dances and feel like they are getting left behind in their section. Suggestions on schools within Melbourne please" on Thu, Oct 10 2019, 8:02:30"
