But if she doesn't recall, would she want to go on stage again after not recalling and dance against the other non recallers? I don't see the point in doing this. My dd has also been a non recaller, once the first two rounds are done, that's it, you recall or you don't. Recallers get to do a third dance and non recallers don't and that's a fact of life.   - The situation you describe is achieved by going home and working hard so that you can try to recall next year. It's like when they announced the top ten dancers but then stopped it the following year because some teachers said it wasn't fair to the non top ten dancers. Seriously, we should be celebrating our top ten, not watering it down so no-one gets their feelings hurt. Coming first in a comp when possibly the top 50 dancers have been removed is ridiculous.
