I think it’s a great idea. Nationals is a very expensive experience. Why not throw a little more chance in there. The kids who recall still hold that amazing accomplishment. The ones who don’t get a second shot at a medal. No harm to anyone. My DD has not recalled two for two now and I know she would be wrapped to get another go.

When do children these days ever get to learn to cope with disappointment? No wonder so many can't cope when they get into the real world. You all think it is keeping everyone happy, but it is raising a generation of disillusioned young adults who think the world revolves around them and they should always be 100% happy and never face rejection, their world falls apart when they don't get what they want as adults.
