Subject: According to comments above, they will only award first place, so there will still be lots of disappointed dancers and only one smiling. When do children these days ever get to learn to cope with disappointment? No wonder so many can't cope when they get into the real world. You all think it is keeping everyone happy, but it is raising a generation of disillusioned young adults who think the world revolves around them and they should always be 100% happy and never face rejection, their world falls apart when they don't get what they want as adults. I saw a great video...
In reply to: DM 's message, "I agree, if your dancer is there why not give them an opportunity to have as many achievements as they can" on Wed, Aug 14 2019, 23:05:34"

on this and it's message was "Don't do this to your children". I know the "everyone gets a prize" mob will not agree with this, which is unfortunate.

  • If only one dancer gets awarded then that is teaching resilience to the other dancers surely? I don’t understand why people are objecting to it. If you don’t want your dancer to enter then do t enter them, everyone else, have a go and enjoy 😉 (NT) -- DM, Sun, Aug 18 2019, 21:59:36"
