Subject: I was at the walk also, and Cathy and I recognised each other from our posts here and had a bit of a chat before the day begun. It was a good fun day and I'm glad we all raised so much money! (more inside)

There's been a few mentions here of dancers with type one... I'm part of a diabetec social group on facebook, feel free to join if you'd like to meet other youth with type one. We get together for dinner occasionally, we've been out bowling, we plan on having a xmas party, etc. I find its just a great way to share experiences, ask questions and generally have a chat about life with diabetes. I think, so far everyone in the group is in the 18-30 age group and we're all connected through westmead hospital in some way or another, but even if your not, feel free to join.
