Just before the website was taken down, Joe was at the Chicago Show. It was reported that he talked to his fans told stories and took pictures with fans.

Can anyone tell me why the closing of the website was so close to The Chicago Show?

Patti's statement is true. Unfortunately, the complaints about the "look" of Joe's webpage, calling it 'outdated', saying it lacked "bling", were petty & in my opinion, cruel, & I was seeing these type comments WEEKS prior to the Chicago Show. Joe's site has been one of the BEST of it's kind I've seen; MANY areas to explore, loads of archived background info. for those who may have only recently become a Joe Lando fan. Fans outside the USA often stated they had no other trusted resource for info. on Joe! Judy, his friend & website manager did a FABULOUS job, & I really miss my daily visits into "Joe's realm", as I chose to call this website. Many people are now adrift, feeling cut off from Joe Lando: all because of mean & hurtful words by "fans". It is very sad. This is what happened, as I saw the events unfold & as truthfully as I'm able to share. Judy was hurt, Joe was hurt, & now a great place is GONE.

Sometimes people would get mad because of no new information. Gradually the site grew. I just think more was going to cause the web site to close. We are all losers.
