 I think the episode is called 'best behaviour' and one of the male students on the Cliffhangers team, Ezra, tried to kill himself because he realized that his parents really weren't getting back together and that nothing had changed. He felt that he was responsible for their failed marriage.

I've become really attached to the kids in this show ... it spoke to today's teens with real issues - it's really a shame that it didn't last!

Just a footnote - but Higher Ground was modeled somewhat after an older Canadian show called Neon Rider, which was also filmed in the mountains in Western Canada and about troubled teens. Canadian actor Wintson Rykert played a character that would be Peter's counterpart ... and he made a guest appearance on Higher Ground in 'attention deficit' - he was the man who took a hike in the woods with Peter while his son tormented the Cliffhangers.

I've been missing for a few days because my computer crashed and I had to have the operating system re-installed. Good thing a snowstorm allowed me the day off to work and I was able to reload everything! :)
