Danny Bondaduce (close friend to Joe) has been served with divorce papers. I am saddened to hear this news. It is always sad when a marriage falls apart, especially when the couple have been married for many years, 17 in this case. Although I sympathize with the pain of a marriage falling apart, I do understand where Gretchen is coming from and understand why she felt she could no longer stay married to Danny. I hope this doesn't pull Danny back into the dark hole of alcoholism (he has been sober for 1 year). And I hope that he leans on his good friend Joe for moral support as I am sure Joe can get him through this ordeal. At least he would try too.
