Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so I'll give mine. I think people are being too critical about the Prudence movie, that there was no passion between Joe and Jane. I thought the "kitchen scene" was quite passionate. I enjoyed watching them, I enjoyed the story, and I enjoyed seeing the chemistry between some of the other actors as well. I thought Jane and Joe acted age-appropriate. Their combined average age is 55. We can't expect them to be behaving like a couple of 35 year olds finding love for the very first time. Plus, it was a Hallmark movie. It went about as far as Hallmark would allow, I'm sure. And, Jane's character was a lot "edgier" than Michaela Quinn. Again, I enjoyed the movie and plan to watch it again tonight. I thought Jane and hubby, James Keach, had a nice chemistry happening too. I'd like to see them do more acting together as well.

You are right, in that everyone is allowed their opinion. I happen to agree with yours. Joe and Jane played off each other so well. I couldn't take my eyes off of them when they were on the screen together. Naturally I was more enthused with Joe... man does he look hot as ever in this movie. Anyway, as you said, this is a Hallmark movie, not some sleezy jump in bed take off all your clothes movie in theaters today. If they had anymore chemistry between them it would have felt like a peep show! Did you count the moans whenever Jack (Joe) kissed her? It was made with good taste and left alot to the imagination. Besides, Prudence was mad at Jack at first but she slowly melted the ice away and became genuinely warm towards Jack by the end. Relationships take time to build on. Especially when the trust has been messed around with. I think this movie had a great story plot and the casting of all characters was very believeable. This critic gives the movie two thumbs up.

i agree with you. i wouldnt want my child to see a sleezy movie. some folks just wanted a little more. remember dr. quinn was the same way. it was just enough passion and that show isnt sleezy. you gave me a good laugh. thanks. maybe will see another prudence before the year is up
