Hey Scott,

I think I do remember a SFC Enix.
Was he sort of a good old boy?
I think he got into some trouble for making
some racial comments to someone at the Rendesvous club.

Did they ever find a better home for the alligator
they had at the club?

I always wondered what happened to the 15Deltas.
When Lance was fazed out were most converted to 13Mikes?
Sorta what happened to some of old timers who were with Honest John units when Lance replaced the HJ.

I was going through AIT at Fort Sill when they were still
deciding which Companies prototype was going to be the
MLRS ( called GSRS at the time, General Support Rocket System ). It was between the BOEING Vehicle, which was very sleek and modern looking and the Vought Vehicle which was Boxey looking. Both on the same Chassis of course.

During the trials the Boeing prototype was coming up out of a ditch and apparently the driver came up too steep and rolled the vehicle. Hard to believe but that was the word back then.

I spent my last 7 months as an AIT instructor at the Lance Branch. Got to look at the new MLRS. Like you said,
lots of automation there.

No more MISSLE IS LAID! ELEVATE!!!

PS I don't think those heaters in the SPL ever worked.

It took us two years just to get all the parts for ours.

Talk to you later Scott.
